J’z Craze

J’z Craze trio was formed in 1997 at the initiative of former NHK Symphony Orchestra trumpeter Sachio Butsuka. Its current lineup consists of trumpeter Sachio Hotokezaka, guitarist Katsuki Abe, and bassist Akira Kirisawa.

The harmonies woven by these three musicians from different genres—classical and jazz—are fresh and warm.

They have steadily expanded their fanbase through numerous tours across the country and have released three CDs: "Ferris Wheel," "Moon Fish," and "One."

Without being confined to jazz, they are expanding their activities with the motto of creating music that feels "familiar even to first-time listeners."
