Kasperi Sarikoski

Trombonist Kasperi Sarikoski (b. 1988) has performed with numerous Finnish jazz artists and in the bands of Jukka Linkola, Jukka Perko and Teppo Mäkynen, among others. International orchestras include the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and Wynton Marsalis. Sarikoski has released two albums of his own music, Essence (2015) and 3 + 1 (2020). He plays mainly in the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra.

During the Lieksa Brass Week, Kasperi Sarikoski will play tenor horn in Suomi-Seitsikko and will be a guest at the ensemble course.
